This website aims to be a repository of general knowledge about keeping poultry, as well as a local information source.
The Canberra Backyard Poultry Club is aimed at anyone keeping poultry for utility purposes in the ACT and surrounding regions. We provide support and information relating to chooks living in a family backyard or garden, and are particularly keen on integrating chooks into backyard self-sufficiency.
We are the local offshoot of the wider online community of the Backyard Poultry forums which anyone is free to join and we are also the ‘backyard wing’ of the Canberra Queanbeyan Poultry Club.
